Hi Jan, it is difficult to adjust to all forms of seed ripening, something will be ready at any given time, e.g. my Bomarea edulis tends to ripen in January. In the EU we had a first exchange in early March last year, since hat's a good time to sow things like Tigridieae and other summer growers. I intend too keep that time frame, so EU members be on the lookout for a collection phase soon to be opened. I understand it is usually held around April-May to allow winter blooming bulbs time to ripen their seed, in particular the southern hemisphere seed. I don’t grow many African or South American bulbs so I don’t have much experience to pull from. > > I love to hear from members with experience growing these bulbs when the seeds ripen so I can schedule a seed exchange at the best time.
