Oxalis purpurea is common in cultivation and has the shiny bronzy symmetrical pointed bulbs, and general appearance of the pictures. It comes in a range of shades from white through rose and pink to a light violet/lavender. It is, however, very vigorous, albeit spreading fairly slowly unless bulbs or soil are moved...gophers ate all the unprotected plants last year, but enough bulblets survived they have returned, and bulbs the gopher moved to caches dozens of feet away are coming up in clumps.
