Crocus cages

Hello Roland,
quite simply because they are just mixed-up with everything else.
Maybe I could make small wire mesh pockets for them?

Why not use 5 or 7 mm wire cages and dig them in
Easy to make yourself
They last at least 10 years

Travis,
you would have to ask braver and more crocus wise folk than me.
Here any crocus is smartly devoured by voles.
I have given up on them except tommies which seed and some escape the
gnawing.
I will try and get some castor oil/ ricinus chaff that is good as a rodent
repellent and slightly nitrogenous.
It does help a lot!

" Mark,

Could it be Crocus sieberi subsp. sublimis?"
