I have heard all sorts of urban legends about getting rid of them. One was to put a piece of raw chicken down the burrow. Still unsuccessful. " Dell, After trying many approaches to remove an extended family of woodchucks squatting in my garden, I found that well-used cat litter dumped down the burrows was quite (and immediately) successful in encouraging them to move on. Its very effective but not a perfect solution....now the neighbors are complaining about burrows in their yards and my borders still get raided once in a while. I'll be a good neighbor this Spring and give them all bags of cat litter.
