Patty? The hardiness is indicated as to -5° C from a researcher on Malta
and as 20° F from a grower inhe U.S.

I have been growing some Pancratium maritimum in a five gallon pot .
I am ashamed to say I haven't taken really good care of them. Purchased 21
and I counted 18 when I went out side a few minutes ago to see if they had
survived our 17 degree weather this past winter (yeah, I know, it's not
over yet!!)
But they have bloomed for me ever since I planted them,which I believe was
3 years ago, even with the neglect I gave them. They are growing in
ordinary garden soil that you can purchase at a "dirt yard" and they
weren't protected against the 17 degree weather except for the fallen oak
leaves that fell in the nursery pot they reside in.
I'm on the edge of zone 8b/9a, so I've a different set of circumstances
down that you guys who live farther north.

Hello all. I know that this may be currently off topic but does anyone on
this list grow Pancratium maritimum?. I can get seed from Malta,
apparently, but would like to avoid the importation hassle. Reply off
