? SPRING ?

Hi All:
Cabin fever struck and I spent a couple of hours checking out all of the
micro-climates at Chicago Botanic Garden. Not a blade to be seen (under
about 4" of snow) with education conservatories being the exception.
Fifth snowiest winter on record however the temperatures are only
averaging 0.5 degrees C cooler than normal. This is the third
consecutive winter we have had more than average snowfall.
Sanity (and a hope for Spring) is preserved by a Lachenalia and a Moraea
blooming under the grow lights at home.
