This morning I had a rather small Geissorhiza corrugata. I had been caring for it since its purchase last year; it finally opened this morning. By lunchtime it was gone without a trace! I suspect Blue jays. I wonder whether they left the bulb. This would not be the first plant they've stolen from me -- earlier this year I lost a dormant Gladiolus nanus corm. Occasionally I will find an acorn planted in a pot. Well, perhaps it is squirrels and not jays, but I've seen jays pecking for gravel if not more from my pots. Davide E
