Shortly after I uploaded an image to the wiki with the name Kniphofia thomsonii snowdenii, David Fenwick contacted me privately with some comments on this image. Once I identified my source for the plant, he was reasonably sure that it represents not Kniphofia thomsonii snowdenii but rather a triploid form of Kniphofia thomsonii. David was also kind enough to provide three photos of Kniphofia which, with his consent, I have uploaded to the wiki. One shows the triploid form of Kniphofia thomsonii as he grows it; the other two show Kniphofia thomsonii snowdenii from his collection. One of these two photos clearly shows the pubescence on the exterior of the flower of Kniphofia thomsonii snowdenii. The text of the wiki has been modified with these things in mind. Take a look at: http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/… Thanks, David!
