"Puce" color

Cynthia, your three different definitions of 'puce' could cover 3 different
varieties of Eggplant. Now I can visualize a color I think is mauve, even
describe my version as a medium value pinkish-brown. I cannot really visualize or
describe 'puce' other than a dull eggplant of some variety.
