I've been mixing diatomaceous earth into my potting mixes and having
some success in dealing with the mealies. It's worth a try.

where something labeled "Cyrtanthus elatus x falcatus" is in
bloom. Also blooming, two weak white crocuses (ochroleucus?) and a
pale pink colchicum which I don't remember planting.
