I have posted three photos of Crocus kotschyanunus ssp. kotschyanus 'Reliance' to the PBS wiki at: http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/… This is typically the first autumn crocus to bloom in my garden, with flowers opening the end of September or very early October. The photos were taken on October 2, 2005, just before having 9 straight days of pouring rain. At least the rain hastened the emergence of many other autumn crocus and my sleepy Sternbergia lutea.
