Not to beat a dead horse:
SOD: it hasn't shown up on any maps within a half mile of my garden.
Last I heard from the University of California via our county deputy
agricultural commissioner in charge of SOD control, commercial
nurseries could ship plants out of the SOD quarantine area if there
were no nearby (1/2 mile radius) occurrences. So, I hope that I won't
be a vector for Phytopthera ramorum!!
