There is a nice double-flowered form of D. imperialis, if it ever gets to flowering; some friends of mine found it in Mexico growing as a hedging plant in a remote village & came home triumphantly with their prize, only to find that Tony Avent sells it from Plant Delights Nursery! Should have said that D. imperialis revels in the short days & frost free climate of Nairobi, Kenya, where I first got to know it - pink flowers against a blue African sky... John Grimshaw Dr John M.
