OK, back to bulbs, but following the current theme, more edible ones. I've just been repotting bulb seedlings, starting with the A's. I have lots of different alliums, most of which haven't flowered yet. I sprinkle chives and nodding onion flowers (Allium schoenprasum and A. cernuum) on food, as the varied colours of the flowers are pretty on a salad or scrambled eggs. I am expecting some of my other species to increase enough to use. Are they all edible? How about some of the blue-flowered ones? Diane Whitehead
