8 years from seed, but only 2nd time blooming. Sinningia ramboi needs to be sufficiently chilled during dormancy to trigger bud formation -- a trick I did not understand until last year. This year only 2 of my 3 plants bloomed, and with fewer flowers than last year, so I guess I didn't chill them well enough this time.
