Dear Jane, The forum uses cookies to keep track of your Identity, and after some time, they expire, so you'll have to log in with your user name and password again - please use the Button in the top row, right behind the Text "welcome to the PBS Forum" for this. In the window that opens then for entering said name and Password, there is a drop-down selection field to determine the duration of the log-in cookie - the default is "1 Hour", but if you change this to "forever", you will stay logged on for this particular IT device (PC/Tablet/Phone) and browser, and won't have to enter your password again until someone or something flushes your "cookie cache". Unfortunately, we can't change the default to forever, as it is considered security related - though that would only be a problem on a system multiple people use with the same user profile - in a situation like an internet cafe or free access computer in a lobby or something like that. In such cases I'd always recommend a manual logout, anyway. Hope that helps, Martin Am 24.04.2022 um 05:41 schrieb Jane McGary via pbs: > I registered to use the forum and was able to post 3 times the first > time I used it, but when I went back later to comment on another > topic, I did not see the buttons that had been present before, for > "Reply" or "Post."
