Subject: [pbs] Rauhia identification?

Hi folks,
Is it possible to identify Rauhia without a flower?
I purchased this at Bob Smoley's greenhouse literally 2 days before he
passed away, so this is a very sentimental plant in my collection. I feel
so fortunate to have met this beautiful soul.
He was telling me that a friend of his collected this plant a long time ago
- I believe he mentioned Brazil. My memory doesn't serve me in this regard.
The shape and overall appearance seem pretty distinctive. (The leaf always
looks like this; tall, and has "fullers" and is glaucous.)
I don't remember it ever having more than one leaf at a time.
If the picture doesn't work for you, let me know, and I can send it
directly.
Thanks in advance, Jude
