Chad, When I collected seed in ~April years ago, it waited in the envelope on my shelf until the following Fall when I sowed the seeds. I got very good germination. -|<ipp ________________________________ From: pbs <pbs-bounces@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> on behalf of Chad Cox via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> Sent: Friday, April 2, 2021 2:29 PM To: pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> Cc: Chad Cox <clcox@ucdavis.edu> Subject: [pbs] Hesperocallis seeds Hi everyone, I just received by BX package including seeds of H. undulata. Thank you Luminita and also Leo for donating the seeds! My question is should I save these until fall before germinating? This seems like the right thing to do given that they are winter growing but I am not sure how long the seeds will last? Is it safe to store them in the refrigerator? This is what I typically do with seeds that I am waiting to germinate, but I’m a little unsure about these given that it sounds like a lot of people had trouble growing them. Any advice would be much appreciated. Chad in Elverta CA where it has been 82-86F all week. Spring may have just started but I can feel summer coming... Sent from my iPhone Chad L.
