Jane mentions that she has Cyclamen hederifolium confusum in her garden. I have it also and find it under some circumstances to be a bit tender even here in Zone 8b. Not sure why, as hederifolium itself is pretty bullet-proof. Given very good drainage in Jane's Z 7 garden it would be worth experimenting in Zones 5 or 6 because the hederifolium itself is hardy in those zones. I don't find confusum especially attractive as compared to hederifolium though and regard it as something of a curiosity, but it's definitely worth trying. Well, all cyclamen seed is, but then I'm a little big prejudiced!
