Hello Sabrina, You always write the seed parent first, followed by the pollen donor, e.g. Hippeastrum Amore x Revelation. In case you are working on F2, you write it like this Hippeastrum (Amore x Revelation) x self. Other examples could look like this: Hippeastrum [Chico x (Chico x iguazuanum)] x (papilio x mandonii) Which can also be written like this: Hippeastrum Chico hyb x papilio hyb As Fred mentioned, a date helps with tracking the time.
