labeling seeds of hippeastrum by cross pollination

Hello Sabrina,
You always write the seed parent first, followed by the pollen donor, e.g.
Hippeastrum Amore x Revelation.
In case you are working on F2, you write it like this Hippeastrum (Amore x
Revelation) x self.
Other examples could look like this:
Hippeastrum [Chico x (Chico x iguazuanum)] x (papilio x mandonii)
Which can also be written like this:
Hippeastrum Chico hyb x papilio hyb
As Fred mentioned, a date helps with tracking the time. I do this we well.
Hope this helps,
Vlad

Dear all,
I was searching the Pacific Bulb Society wiki for the correct writing
method of hippeastrum grown from cross pollination e.g. of Plant A with
pollination of stamen from plant B, but I wasn’t successful.
I hope someone can send me the message I am looking for.
Regards
Sabrina
