I have some Cymbidiums in bud, but the flowers are not yet going to be open for the Christmas-New Year period. I let these sit outdoors through October and most of November, almost up until the first actual frosts. Is there any way to get them to be in full flower by late December? Are there strains of Cymbidium that naturally flower in December? I have a surfeit of yellow-flowering Cymbidiums. Does anyone want to trade? I could use red, white or brown. I already have two or three slightly different pinks, so I have enough of this color. I'm especially interested in earlier flowering strains as well. These are definitely not geophytes. ************************************************* Jim Shields USDA Zone 5 Shields Gardens, Ltd. P.O.
