Early winter flowering

Lauw,

Did the flowers that were not damaged change themselves while it was
cold?

For example, I can tell how cold it is outside by seeing how tightly
the rhododendrons roll their leaves. No need to go outside or look at
a thermometer - just look out the window.

Interesting to see that many flowers support frost as long they are
sheltered from wind.
