Scadoxus pole-evansii

Silverhill Seeds in S. Africa grows this and has seed available every year.
I just exchanged a message with Rachel last week after a bird made off
with two of my four seedlings and she said not to worry, they expect to
have plenty again next year.

Hello Folks,

I just got the issue of The Bulb Garden and I'm sooo bummed!!! Last year
I purchased/imported what I thought were three bulbs of pole-evansii, turns
out they were just the plain multiflorus ssp. katharinae. I already have
that one and they're pretty easy to get in the Boston area. Does anybody
know of a good source for pole-evansii in the U.S. ? Seeds would be fine
but bulb(lets) would be better. If anyone would like to trade, I have lots
of potential goodies in exchange. Please let me know.
