Hi all, Here in Central Indiana, I have a couple pots of Scadoxus multiflorus katherinae in bloom, the last flower to open on Hymenocallis eucharidifolia, and a pot full of the dwarf Caliphruria korsakoffii in bloom. See pictures of these in my blog at: http://shieldsgardens.com/Blogs/Garden/… The current temperature is 95 F or 35 C. The drought persists, although we are in a band that did get 0.75 inch of rain about 5 days ago. We are still down about 8 inches for the year, and this is the most severe drought locally since the summer of 1988. It does not seem to be affecting my potted plants, except where I have been remiss in watering. Plants in the ground are probably going to go dormant early, as I am not able to keep them sufficiently watered.
