Do Narcissus 'Nylon' need chilling?

My suggestion is that if the daffodil needs its growth to be slowed down,
to allow the buds to develop, I would plant it in cool weather before mid
winter, keep it somewhere dark until well rooted, and then put it in the
refrigerator for 10 weeks. It should then flower in the Spring.
