I am hoping someone can explain what to me seems inexplicable. I have a perfectly normal Begonia boliviensis, not absolutely pure as though it has the normal four petaled flower, it is a deep salmon colour. Last autumn I took a couple of cuttings in time for them to develop quite nice corms, before subsiding for the winter and was delighted when new shoots appeared early this year. However both have produced white multi-petaled flowers without a hint of pink. As I gave one away to somebody who admired the salmon form I am stuck for a solution.
