Jim, an Italian friend of mine has C. vansonii growing in the garden in USDA zone 9. A few years ago she had snow in the garden but no problems with C. vansonii. I grow them in pot and care for them as for Clivia. I overwinter them in a cool greenhouse, watering just one time in a month. They are from seeds from Malan, South Africa: 100% germination.
