Dear All,

From Mark and I hope he won't mind my using his wonderful images to try
this out.

Here's a picture of a beautiful yellow Eremurus that I bought about 5 years
ago at a plant nursery. For the life of me, I can't remember the
species/cultivar name at the moment, and it's now under about 2' (60cm) of
hard snow, so I can't check the name. It took a couple years to settle in,
but has provided a great show for the last several years. It's planted in
heavy, stony clay, with sand mixed in. The photo was taken in mid June
(2002) showing bright yellow flowers at early anthesis.
