Dear All, From Mark and I hope he won't mind my using his wonderful images to try this out. Here's a picture of a beautiful yellow Eremurus that I bought about 5 years ago at a plant nursery. For the life of me, I can't remember the species/cultivar name at the moment, and it's now under about 2' (60cm) of hard snow, so I can't check the name. It took a couple years to settle in, but has provided a great show for the last several years. It's planted in heavy, stony clay, with sand mixed in.
