Dear All,

I have found some pictures of some of the not as common species I grow and have scanned them along with the yellow Triteleia ixioides ssp. scabra close-up (from Robinett seed). I will send them to the AB_images list and the Bulbs_Images list. Anyone not on those lists who can receive attachments and wants to see them, let me know.

Besides the one mentioned above, I have scanned Triteleia hendersonii, the one I say mostly multiplies but always has a few blooms. I also included Triteleia bridgesii with the shiny center and the triangular filaments which I think you can see in the picture, Triteleia lilacina, one of my personal favorites with purple anthers and sparkly beads in the center, and what keys out to be T. montana. That picture shows the change in color of the flowers as it continues to bloom.

In my introduction I did not include my key because with the tabs you really can't put it in an e-mail and have it turn out looking very well, but if there is anyone who grows these and wants to try to confirm species or key them out when looking for them in the wild I'll be happy to share it as a word attachment. Write me privately at mailto:msittner@mcn.org

Mary Sue
