summer Alliums

Just has a look at your interesting "Allium gallery"
No mention of Allium thunbergii? This species seems to do very well during
mediterranean summer, in spite drought and high temperatures. Can you tell
us a bit more about this one please

Jim mentioned the lull of bulbous plants between July and August, but with
Alliums there is no such lull.
July is a peak for Alliums, but so too is August... and into September. And
here, at the end of August, there are still so many alliums in bud yet to
