Thanks, Mary Sue, for placing and pointing out my photo of Allium scorzonerifolium ssp. xericense. This rather large and substantial Allium is indeed a good one, but I can't give much guidance on how to grow it because I have had it only one year, having bought it as a bulb from Michael Salmon's Monocot Nursery last year. I have it in a portion of my unheated bulb frames that is kept quite dry in summer. I sent in the photo because of the pleasing bright yellow color. The stem was about 16 inches (38 cm) tall.
