The crape myrtles will probably be fine, at least in most of TX. They are completely hardy here in Zone 7. However, it's possible that ones planted in parts of Zone 7 in AK, OK, and the TX panhandle could be suffering. I'd also expect a lot of damage to the tropicals that folks normally grow outside in Houston. Bob East TN 20 last night, a little sun right now, winter storm heading in tonight again.
