Hey Bob, Mine does go through an annual winter dormant period. It has been pretty good about signaling me that it’s going dormant as opposed to me encouraging the dormant period. I’ve not experienced the challenge of changing seasonality. I’ll defer on the seasonality part on how best to acclimate with live plants changing Southern Hemisphere to Northern Mike .
