Lachenalia Carnosa and butterfly

Hey All,
Sorry for not sharing location but yes, I’m in San Diego. Thanks Bob for
reminding me that location would help. ;)
This butterfly wound up hanging around for awhile so maybe soon some
voracious caterpillars will appear. That would actually be fine. I just
got the Lachenalia Carnosa from of all places the Huntington Gardens ISI
offering this year.
I was looking at the Western Swallowtail tonight and it seems like a match
for sure.
Thanks everyone, have a great night and enjoyable Sunday.

Santa Ana winds here tomorrow and Monday . The back country dry as a
bone....Looks like from Big Bear south to the border another round of fire
weather on the way.

I think we can settle this by noting that Mike is in San Diego.
Personally, I'm impressed by the Lachenalia. Very cute!

Oak Ridge, TN where we won't be seeing butterflies for another six weeks
or so!

I don't know where Mike is located. If in Eastern USA - it's probably
eastern swallowtail. Western - then it's anise swallowtail. Regardless,
it's
lovely.
