This is one of my oldest Sinningia plants that I've grown from seed, maybe about 8 or 10 years old? It's a huge grower and hard to maintain indoors under artificial lights. Over all this time I never noticed the black inner lower lip on the flowers until now. It should be able to hybridize with the Sinningia brasiliensis, so I'm trying the cross both ways.
