I wouldn't panic yet. I have a B. litoralis that bloomed this year (so I
know it's not dead), but it has yet to put up leaves. A B. josephinae that
bloomed this year hasn't even finished maturing its seeds yet, let alone put
up leaves. But many of my other South African Amaryllids have long leaves
already. So there is still time.
