The ancient Methuselah cyclamen does flower rather nicely, as this picture from January 2014 shows. Not much seed set - no pollinators in my greenhouse at that time of year. I'll have to see what I can do with a fine artist's brush, as Linc Foster used to do. I must say that having moved all the C. hederifolium, the one C. rohlfsianum, a small C. africanum outdoors - Yay for the pollinators! because if the curled up watch spring pedicels are any indication they are all setting seed quite well. (Just about everything in the greenhouse was taken out - thought the twinwall polycarbonate greenhouse roof was going to be replaced. It wasn't. But that's another story.) Judy in New Jersey where this evening's clear skies would make me nervous about a frost tonight, except it is 60 degrees Fahrenheit up on the roof right now. But frost will come. Winter is coming. -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus/ -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
