Sun/shade, something about the soil which may have cause them to be drier or hotter? I am particularly interested in what factors affect the blue versus pink color. It sounds like it is more environmental than genetic; is that true? The wiki suggests lower temperatures can result in bluer blooms but your weather has been the opposite. My L. sprengeri seedlings' single leaves from your seeds are 4 to 6 cm tall. Im not sure how much sun to give them. - Gastil
