Whilst getting something else out of the basement I discovered 3 forgotten pots of eucomis, with small, pale little shoots barely rising above the soil. What to do? I brought them upstairs, put them outdoors in the shade, and gave them a nice drink of water. Unless they go on overdrive I don't see how they can mature before it is time to bring them indoors again. Into the greenhouse rather than the basement I suppose. Any suggestions to help them along? I feel like such a bad bulb mommy. Judy in New Jersey where rains have returned and mushrooms are popping forth. Plus, I saw chrysanthemums for sale at a grocery store. Very strange.
