Dear all:
Let me clarify what I was referring to. I don't mean browning around the edges of the leaves. That affects everything here in the desert, not to mention periodic bouts with chlorosis. I was referring to the leaves being consistently and completely striped, mottles, or splotched, sometimes even distorted, when environmental or physical damage, insect damage, and variegation can be ruled out. The effect is not pretty and the plant's vigor can be affected.
