Hi, I've added some habitat pictures for Moraea pritzeliana, syn. Gynandriris pritzeliana. The display of wild flowers we saw in Calvinia last September was one of the most memorable. A couple of these pictures show nature's companion planting with this pretty plant. The other interesting aspect of this plant are the leaves. It is one of those that has leaves that coil and we have a couple of pictures showing this. Not all the plants we saw had coiling leaves and they do not seem to be coiled in the pictures of Bob Werra's plants that he is growing in cultivation.
