I'm not sure I have P. canariensis so I can't tell you how to tell them apart. But I have several other Pancratium species and none of them have leaves as blue-greyish as Paramongaia. Also, my Paramongaias' leaves are more leathery, or thicker, or stiffer, than any of the Pancratium species. Finally, since we both liver fairly close to each other, I can tell you that my Pancratium species have started leafing our long before my Paramongaias. I think only one Paramongaia has barely started emerging the past week or so. The Pancratiums started leafing out a month ago or so. Of course all this early rain may change all that. --Lee Poulsen Pasadena area, California, USDA Zone 9-10 On Oct 26, 2004, at 11:54 AM, Floral Architecture wrote: > I have several pots of bulbs with narrow grey-ish > leaves.
