I did get those seeds from the 'open offer' last year, being not a member of PBS. They arrived in a quit bad condition being germinated from a while and the radicles were twisted and entangled and the leaf very etiolated. The mass of 'white worms' was gently extricated and were potted in a deep pot to allow those radicles to be put in the right way. The first leaf quickly died but was promptly replaced from a new one, which grew fine. Lated, the seedlings gained size and have never been dormant (always outdoor in full sun) in not for a couple of weeks in June. They are watered now and then and got a liquid fertilizer, the kind for flowering plants(low in nitrogen). Now they are strong plants, some with 4 leaves and a small bulb of 1cm (half inch). So far all fine...but the way is long ! Angelo
