I have the 'Fred Meyer White' that I got from Easy-to grow Bulbs and a xAmarygia that came from Greece. The differences that I have noticed are the xAmarygia is slightly larger and the throat has a more prominent yellow area. The back story that Easy-to-grow has, is that Fred Meyer scattered amaryllis seeds around and no one touched them for 15 years, and there were these white ones growing among the others. In the Azores, Amaryllis belladonna is planted along the roads, and very rarely will you see a white one among the pink ones since no one deadheads them. _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
