I have found that if I haven't got them in flower in time for our bees to do it for me the easiest way is to put two pots side by side and push the 2 flower heads together, each pair of flowers at a time. I get almost 100% that way. This year the long warm summer made it very difficult for me to get them in flower in late summer. Still many of my bulbs are still only just showing leaves.
