I checked the item on McClure & Zimmerman's website. They describe it as "miniature," which E. japonicum is certainly not (it's larger than any dens-canis I've seen), but the photo looks similar. I'll probably order some from them anyway; any erythronium is better than none, at least if you have a lot of room and friends who will take the extras. I would be concerned, however, getting any kind of Eurasian erythronium from this vendor, since they are not growers but importers, and these bulbs don't respond well to bare storage.
