Dioscorea

While not literally a bulb, I wondered if anybody on here grows
Dioscorea? I'm trying to improve my Dioscorea collection, and one
I'm particularly looking for, is Dioscorea batatas variegata, which
I lost several years back.
Dear Jude,
We've had this discussion before. By "Dioscorea batatas
variegata" do you mean the common - hardy to Zone 5 - Hardy
"Cinnamon" Vine?
Some of these names are no clear. I have the the hardy
dioscorea that makes rounded tubers in mid summer and is variegated.
I have donated it to the PBS SeedEx a couple of times and can easily
supply it again. It is not a stable variegated form, but when it is
well variegated it is really nice.
Ask me again in June or July. Would love to trade, then.
Best Jim W.
