Hi guys,
Jim - I'd absolutely love to trade you for some - and yes, I'm aware that
the variegation is not stable - however I'd love to keep trying.
Yes, those are the "Cinnamon Vine" - however I wasn't aware it was that
hardy. Zone 5 ? That means it would be hardy here, which is unimaginable!
Best, Jude

While not literally a bulb, I wondered if anybody on here grows

Dioscorea? I'm trying to improve my Dioscorea collection, and one >I'm

particularly looking for, is Dioscorea batatas variegata, which >I lost
several years back.

Dear Jude,
We've had this discussion before. By "Dioscorea batatas variegata" do
you mean the common - hardy to Zone 5 - Hardy "Cinnamon" Vine?

Some of these names are no clear. I have the the hardy dioscorea that
makes rounded tubers in mid summer and is variegated. I have donated it to
the PBS SeedEx a couple of times and can easily supply it again. It is
not a stable variegated form, but when it is well variegated it is really
nice.

Ask me again in June or July. Would love to trade, then.

Best Jim W.
