Are Snowdrops Thermogenic?

Hi,
In message <4FD19559817744DEBA143862859E545E@TheDrennans>, Carolyn
Walker <carolynsshadegardens@verizon.net> writes
says they are. However, I think you would need to test the buds as they
come through the snow or are just opening.
I thought you might say that, temperatures are a balmy 10C and the
flowers have been open for a couple of weeks. I have other snowdrops yet
to appear, I'll report back if I ever find any warmth.
The only other flowers open today were eranthis hyemalis and they're
cool too.
