Cretins indeed. I saw this article pop up two weeks ago and I am still
both
infuriated and nauseous, too much so to parse out my feelings here.

I will say something though; *Brighamia* is not going to invade any
environment. It a difficult plant to grow in Hawai'i and not easy in most
other parts of the world. Its pollinator is extinct, it's a mite-magnet
and
it is extremely susceptible to nematodes.
